We really value the enormous part our staff play in the work we do and we want to make sure that we demonstrate this through the pay and benefits we offer. 2006 saw us completing a comprehensive review of UR's pay and benefits and implementing a new Reward Strategy for all staff. We wanted to make sure the pay and benefits package we offer is the best that we can afford - and of course, that it provides the things that matter to staff. So, we took a "total reward" approach to the review, looking not just at pay itself, but at all the benefits surrounding working for UR. As a result of this work we have introduced a range of new benefits for staff and have also made some changes to pay to ensure that UR can pay competitively in the external voluntary sector market.
