What next?

A man playing chessOver the coming years we will continue to grow our innovative work to reach more people with learning disabilities or mental health needs.

We will develop our work around individual budgets and self directed support, and support our staff to develop the skills they need to support people to be in control and to live as independently as possible.

We will also continue to build links with transitions services, schools and colleges, and work with young people and those important to them to deliver the support they want and need and to make what can be a difficult move from children's to adult services as easy as possible.

We will continue developing our communications with families, giving parents and other family members the support they need.

And we will seek funding to roll out our telesupport pilot, in response to very positive feedback from the people taking part.
