Britain's most imaginative garden revealed!

We ran a competition in the summer of 2007 to find Britain’s most imaginative garden.
Pop star and horticulturalist Kim Wilde (pictured above) said, "When I learnt about the competition it seemed a perfect opportunity to celebrate some of the more imaginative and inventive gardens across the country - ones that make you look at your surroundings in a whole new way."
A panel of celebrity judges - including Kim Wilde, TV gardener Ann-Marie Powell and top garden designer Paul Cooper - named Sally Trendell's beautiful Hertfordshire garden (pictured left) as the overall winner. Kim Wilde praised the "beautiful contrasting foliage, sense of mystery, a garden to explore, lush and otherworldly."
The fundraising appeal for sensory gardens is still on...
We hope to raise enough funds for ten sensory gardens across the UK, bringing stimulation, pleasure and joy into the lives of people with learning disabilities.
