Policy and campaigns

United Response works hard in policy forums and campaign groups to advance the needs and aspirations of people we support.

We are always looking for opportunities for people to speak up for themselves. If people want us to, we support them to take part in campaigns.

We try to engage positively with issues - our main aim is to offer practical suggestions. We produce short policy papers to help highlight key points when we have something useful to contribute.

Moving people

United Response is proud to support a new national anti-stigma programme being launched across England to make a big impact and reduce discrimination against those with mental health needs.

The campaign has been launched by Moving People, a groundbreaking and diverse programme of national and local activity, led by four mental health organisations - Mental Health Media, Mind, Rethink, and the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London.
