Show your commitment to making political information easier and sign up to our Making Democracy Accessible Accreditation Scheme.
Through the scheme:
- We can work with you to make your information accessible – converting standard text you send us into easy read for checking by people with learning disabilities
- We can check and approve what you produce to make sure it really does meet the needs of constituents with learning disabilities.
Once your information has been created or approved, you will be entitled to use the accreditation logo to show that it really is accessible.
How the scheme works
Once you have signed up to Making Democracy Accessible there are two options:
- You can send us standard information and we will convert into easy read and add pictures. We will then test it with people with learning disabilities to make sure that it really is accessible
- You can send us easy read information that you have produced and our team of people with learning disabilities will test to make sure that is accessible.
You can then use the Making Democracy Accessible approved logo on this material.
