Su Sayer from United Response gave a talk on independence for people with learning disabilities and mental health problems in the community.

Su started United Response over 30 years ago.

Su believes that we need to listen to each person to find out what they want.

She talked about how we can work together to give people the best support.

Su said

"We probably all know someone with a learning disability or a mental health problem

"Often these people are not included in society.

"We can listen to people and change things."
