Two people gave a talk about choice and control at an event in Leeds.
Noel from Darlington and David from Leeds gave a presentation using pictures and words.
They did group work about working with people with learning disabilities to make decisions.
Noel said:
"It was a great day. Meeting new people and being able to explain to them how I feel has really boosted my confidence.
"Not all disabled people want the same thing. I like to make choices just like everyone else."
David has cerebral palsy and communicates using Bliss Boards. He said:
"I really liked taking part. It gave me the power to tell people how I like to be supported."
