United Response has responded to the government's green paper.

United Response said:

"We think that some of the things the government says are good.

"We think the Pathways to Work programme will help people to get a job.

"But we think there needs to be more support for people who want to work.

"We also think sometimes employers are nervous to employ a disabled person.

"We need to support employers to change.

"We need to treat people as individuals."
