We had an open day in Oldham on Tuesday 27th March. We talked about services for people with learning disabilities or mental health needs.
The day was really good, with more than 150 people from the community.
The day was organised by United Response’s new Community Networking Project. The project has been set up to make sure there are local services for people.

The day was organised so people could find out about what was available for themselves or for friends and family.
Lots of people took part including Coppice community centre and Oldham PCT (Mental Health Team).
The Oldham mayor Bernard Judge and mayoress Anita Judge were there.
Zaffer Ullah from United Response said:
"Many of us have things in life we need or want, but some people with learning disabilities or mental health needs may need support to achieve these."
