Session objective
To give students an overview of what a learning disability is and how it can affect people’s lives.
Session outcomes
- To understand what it means to have a learning disability.
- To define disability.
- To understand different types of learning disabilities.
Session length
Up to 50 minutes.
Activity examples

This quiz helps students understand more about learning disabilities.
Activity outcomes
Students will realise there are some myths about learning disabilities and find out the facts.
Activity length
The quiz can be completed in 5-10 minutes. Going through the answers will take another 5-10 minutes depending on the detail you would like to give.

Activity instructions
Photocopy the quiz and hand out copies to each student. Ask them to circle the right answer for each question. Once they have finished, you can go through the answers with them.
