This summer, United Response is giving you the chance to take part in an inclusive, swimming challenge event and raise valuable funds for our charity.
Swim For All 2012 aims to celebrate achievement by providing everyone with the opportunity to achieve their own personal goal, take part in an Olympic and Paralympic year sporting event and raise money to help our work supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and physical disabilities.
The 2012-metre relay (symbolic of London’s Olympic and Paralympic year) is open to people of all ages and abilities and participants can complete the challenge in the swimming style of their choice.
The event will take place at Kensington Leisure Centre in West London on 21st May 2012.
Swim For All 2012 is also being backed by recently retired Paralympic swimmer, Fran Williamson. Fran has 23 international medals to her name, including four silver and two bronze won at the Paralympic games in Athens and Beijing.
Places are limited and so all interested swimmers should sign up as soon as possible. To sign up, please complete our registration form.
Alternatively if you would like more information about the event please email fundraising@unitedresponse.org.uk or call Mark Schueler in United Response’s fundraising team on 020 8246 5202.
