In the Swim 2012 is being backed by recently retired Paralympic swimmer, Fran Williamson.
Fran has 23 international medals to her name, including four silver and two bronze won at the Paralympic games in Athens and Beijing. You can read more about Fran and her glittering swimming career on her website.
Fran will be lending her support to this Olympic year event and providing swimmers with exclusive training tips.
She said:
“I am delighted to have been asked to officially support the United Response Swimathon. I am hopeful that my passion for swimming, as well as my international experiences, will provide those who take part with the motivation and drive to do very well indeed. I am looking forward to working with United Response to help promote the event and make it a great success.”
