Complex needs

United Response supports people with complex needs, profound learning and physical disabilities, sensory impairments, as well as those who display behaviour which may put them or others at risk, or which prevent the use of ordinary community facilities or a normal home life.

We also run a number of specialist deaf services and support an increasing number of people with a dual diagnosis of learning disability and mental health need.

United Response’s use of person-centred active support helps to ensure that people with even the most complex needs are able to actively and consistently engage in all areas of their lives, as well as to learn new skills.
