Individualised funding
People with a learning disability can purchase their own support from us, with or without help from others, using a range of individual funding sources
These sources include direct payments or the independent living fund or using their own individual budget if people have one.
We have lots of experience of providing flexible, person centred support that is tailor made to help people achieve their goals and get the life they want.
People can use individual funding to buy whatever support they need, as long as it fits with the rules of any of the different funding sources mentioned.
How can United Response help?
- We will agree with you what support you want from us.
- We will give you a contract that tells you what you can expect from us and what rights you have if you are not happy
- We will work with you to employ the right staff and will make sure that they are properly trained and supervised.
- We will involve you in as much or as little of this as you want.
- We can also offer people and their families or carer advice and guidance about how to access individual funding.
