About Me and My Life is a CD-Rom and booklet created to help people produce easy communication tools.
The CD-Rom and booklet guide you through step by step, of how to use everyday technology to produce multimedia communication tools.
These tools, which are like presentations, can help people with communication impairments, or people who prefer to use visual or audio resources, to communicate things that are important to them.
What can I use this tool for?
Using the CD-Rom and booklet, you could create communication tools to:
- create your person centred plan
- create a journal of your life, your likes and dislikes
- tell a story
- tell people things about yourself if you are going somewhere new
- work with your support worker to create anything you want to!
- show someone’s particular communication needs
- design a CV to catch the eye of potential employers...
