Time for You offers a variety of volunteer activities:
- Awareness raising – liaise with hospitals, clinics, GP surgeries, libraries and other contacts across the community
- Fundraising – oversee or organise fundraising activities
- Office administration – ranges from mail-outs and telephone work, to more in depth work such as databases, social media or collating newsletters.
We support our volunteers to use their existing skills, while at the same time developing new ones. We provide an induction programme and training, where required.
Prior experience of issues affecting carers is not essential.
We really value the contribution that volunteers can make to the delivery and development of our service. You will be supported by a specific team member who is there to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident in your role.
