We’d like to say an enormous thank you and well done to Team United Response for completing RideLondon this Sunday 31st July! They took part to help raise much needed funds for people with disabilities and mental health needs.

As ever, it was a very early start but the sun was shining again for our cyclists this year.

We set up our cheering stations bright and early in Kingston-upon-Thames and some of our cyclists soon started charging past. With our biggest ever RideLondon team we felt fierce! It was a fantastic atmosphere with a real community vibe. The crowd were in high spirits with music playing and plenty of cheers for all of the wonderful cyclists taking part. It was exciting to fully be part of our cyclists' journey and see them ride through Kingston on the way out to Surrey, and again on the way in.

The day sadly wasn't without it's trials but our cyclists all pushed through gracefully to reach the finish line at The Mall.

A huge thank you to our riders

On behalf of United Response, I would like to say a massive thank you to all of our cyclists. Thank you to Jerome Walls our individual rider and soon to be Finance Director. We also had several teams take part together this year including; Jeff Thurgood and Diane Lightfoot in their third consecutive RideLondon for us.

We also had Team Breakfast Bike; Steve Thomas, Winston Matthews, Anna Gripenstedt, Richard Materek and Colin Lathwell. Team Brockley; Robin Maingay, Olivia Digby and Gideon Hymas and Team Giro; James May, Alexander Eggs, James Smith, Anthony Greeves and Rory Gardner. And lastly United Peddlers; Andrew Steele, Peter Thomson, Ashwin Rebello, Vincent Fairclough.

We'd also like to give special mention to George Fuhrmann, who was in Team Brockley but unfortunately couldn't take part on the day. He will be taking on a 100 miler in Norfolk this week.

We are incredibly proud of them all, a truly inspiring bunch of individuals!
