There’s just over a day left to enter the ballot for the London Marathon 2016.

If you’ve been thinking about signing up but you’re worried the odds aren’t in your favour because of the new ballot system, then we’ve got a plan for you. Why not try your luck in the ballot and register for one of our Golden Bond places to double your chances? If you don’t get a place in the ballot then you’ll have a back-up place secured with us already.

There are big benefits to running for a charity, whether you gain your own place or a Golden Bond.

We offer all runners the same fantastic package:

  • A luxury post-race reception at the 5* Duke’s Hotel where you can meet friends and family, go for a shower, get a well-deserved massage and grab something to eat or drink.
  • A station with fully fledged cheerers to support you on the day.
  • A United Response running vest.
  • The opportunity to meet some of the people we support.
  • A fundraising and training toolkit packed full with useful running and nutrition advice and tips.
  • Fundraising advice and support to help you meet your target.
  • Monthly newsletters with training tips and useful running facts.
  • Official London Marathon merchandise (if you hit your sponsorship target by the end of May!).

Steve ran for us this year – watch how he found running for United Response:

So make sure you enter the ballot by 5pm on Friday 8th May and contact us on fundraising@unitedresponse.org.uk to register for a Golden Bond place.
