BBC News presenter Naga Munchetty recently took part in Tesco Charity Pro-Am Classic; a premier golfing event in Epsom.

She is a keen golfer, playing at least five times a week, and raised £25,000 for charity through the event, including £7,000 for United Response.

This is just the latest in many fundraising efforts Naga has completed in aid of United Response. In 2013, Naga ran the 26.2 mile London Marathon, determined to raise £2,000. She said she felt inspired to run for United Response because of the stigma surrounding mental health issues and the invaluable support United Response can offer people with mental health needs to take part in society. In the end, Naga raised £3,224 including gift aid.

She produced a blog for United Response on her journey training for the Marathon-- but that's not all.

In addition to training, Naga contributed to Postcards from the Edges and encouraged everyone to launch a 4tea party in their office.

In 2015, Naga did the Pointless Celebrities quiz show in aid of United Response on BBC1 and won £250!

So far, Naga has raised £10, 074 for us and we couldn't be more grateful.

Thank you Naga Munchetty for your excellent fundraising efforts.
