Thank you to everyone who took part and donated during our #XmasHatSnap fundraiser.

We have raised a cracking £1,556 so far towards our appeal to combat social isolation. This is all thanks to your generous donations online and offline, as well as those of you who donned a hat and donated by texting this Christmas.

Thanks for supporting a worthy cause

We asked people to wear a Christmas hat and take snaps with friends and family, whilst donating £3 by text to our social isolation appeal.

The appeal, which is still ongoing, aims to combat social isolation among people with disabilities and mental health needs. Many people with disabilities and mental health needs often find it hard to engage with their local communities, which can lead to them living very lonely lives. Your donations mean we can work with the people we support to set up groups, events and activities within their local communities and help bring people together.

Fun for all: the highlights

As our first digital fundraiser, we had a lot of fun choosing our favourite snaps to become our #XmasHatSnaps of the day, and especially enjoyed the participation from your four-legged friends.
