More than two years on from the exposure of the abuse suffered by residents of Winterbourne View hospital, the government and a host of organisations are working to ensure that a systematic failure such as this will never happen again.

United Response fully endorses this endeavour and has signed up to the Driving Up Quality Code. The code is for providers and commissioners and represents a commitment to driving up quality in services for people with learning disabilities.

The code sets out specific  aims such as creating and building passion in the learning disability sector to provide high quality, values-led services and to provide a clear message about what is and what is not acceptable practise.  Not only that but it aims to promote a culture of openness and honesty in organisations and promote the celebration and sharing of good work that is out there.

We are dedicated to providing quality care through our person-centred approach, ensuring people can be who they want to be and get what they want from life.
