On Friday 15th July at 6pm, Bath Cricket Club will again welcome Bath Rugby Legends back to their North Parade ground for their annual Charity Twenty20 match, raising funds in aid of the national disability charity, United Response.

This year’s Charity Twenty20 match will see Bath Cricket Club taking to the pitch in order to level the score board. Currently the Rugby Legends lead with two wins from previous year’s encounters against the cricket clubs singular win.

The annual event aims to fundraise for charity. For 2016, Bath Cricket Club committee have chosen national disability charity United Response. The community-based charity works with people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and physical disabilities, providing everything from 24-hour care to a few hours support a week. The charity’s vision is of a society where disabled people are equal participants with access to the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.

Matt Hankins, Chairman of Bath Cricket Club said, “We are looking forward to welcoming the Legends again at North Parade. We are determined to level the score board and raise as much money as possible for a great charity.”

Gates open at 5pm, with the action due to start at 6pm. There will be a bar open to all spectators. All are welcome to come and join in the family fun. Suggested entry donations are £3 for adults and £1 for under-16s.
