Local disability charity United Response is holding an inclusive art exhibition at County Square Ashford from Thursday 2nd – 9th July (except Sunday 5th), to raise awareness of its work in the area.

Taking place between 10am and 4pm, the fourth annual Connecting Ashford Artists exhibition will feature work by artists of a variety of abilities and includes paintings, drawings, photography and sculpture.

People supported by the charity, which supports those with learning disabilities and mental health needs to lead fulfilling lives within their communities, will be contributing to the exhibit and have helped to design posters and invitations to publicise the event.

Rob Stevens, service manager at United Response who helped organise the free event, said:

“The exhibit provides an inclusive forum for both new and establish artists and is a great opportunity for the local community to get together and celebrate creativity.

We hope that this year’s event will help raise awareness of our work in the area and highlight the benefits of inclusivity.”
