Care and support For disabled people For professionals Founded in 1973 with just one service in West Sussex, we now support more than 3000 people, work in over 300 locations across England and Wales and employ approximately 3500 staff. We work with over 60 local authorities, providing a wide range of support services. We also work with individuals or families who have a personal budget. We use a variety of best practice tools, techniques and approaches to achieve this vision, including our The Way We Work framework. We have trained experts in successfully supporting people with complex needs, challenging behaviour and moving out from long stay institutions, to become more independent and to become part of the local community.
