Here’s a step by step guide to what happens after you make a support enquiry:

  1. Everyone’s needs and aspirations are different and we want to understand and support you to meet yours.

  2. Our professional team are here to discuss the support you need. You can call us or send us an email.

  3. A member of our local team will get in touch with you to discuss how we are able to help you.

  4. We’ll arrange a meeting with you to answer your questions and work together to build a package of support that works for you.

  5. We’ll discuss the support you want, the hours and how much it will cost. You, you family and friends will be at the heart of developing your support plan. They can come with you to this meeting if you want.

  6. If you would like to, we can meet again to make sure we get everything just right. We want you to feel confident and happy that we understand you and your needs.

  7. You can then decide whether you want to choose United Response to support you.

  8. If you choose us for your support, we’ll then create a support plan which shows exactly how we will work with you. You can be as involved with deciding on details as you want.

  9. We’ll work with you to find or recruit staff that can provide the support you need, in the way you want it.

  10. The support you need will now be in place for you to live the life you choose.

  11. We’ll continue to be there for you after this. We’ll be in touch, talk to you about what’s working well and what is not, and make sure we change our support when you want us to.
