Sometimes we work with people we support, artists and poets to produce creative projects.

These look at life as a person with a disability in a new light, and can provide valuable routes to self-expression.

Postcards from the Edges

Developed as part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, the Postcards from the Edges website was created to empower people with, or affected by, disabilities to express what's important to them.

The website hosts hundreds of postcards about issues like the right to work, wellbeing, dreams and challenges.

In October 2016, we re-launched our Postcards from the Edges campaign to raise awareness of the importance of properly funded adult social care.

There is a lot of misunderstanding over what social care is, why it is so important and who funds it. To dispel these myths and show why social care must be properly funded, we are asking everyone to tell us what good social care looks like to them and how it is making a difference to their lives and the lives of those they care about.
