Sometimes we work with people we support, artists and poets to produce creative projects.

These look at life as a person with a disability in a new light, and can provide valuable routes to self-expression.

Postcards from the Edges

Developed as part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, the Postcards from the Edges website was created to empower people with, or affected by, disabilities to express what's important to them.

The website hosts hundreds of postcards about issues like the right to work, wellbeing, dreams and challenges.

We continue to welcome new postcards on a range of themes which can be submitted through the website.

Dignity and Light poetry collections

Dignity and Light are two collections of poetry written with, by and about people with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

The poems, some of which were written by people supported by United Response, are all available to read and download for free online.
