Supporting you to get a job Having a paid or voluntary job can make a real difference to your life. It can help you become more independent, build up your confidence and start new friendships. If you want a job, we may be able to support you to find one. We help as many people as we can to find work, but this isn’t always possible if there isn’t funding available for you. How to get funding In order to provide you with supported employment support, you will need funding in these ways: Your local authority can put you in touch with us and fund your support. If you are referred by Jobcentre Plus, our services are free to you. Our services can be recommended through a locally funded route. You can spend part of your personal budget being supported. How we help We can support you to make applications, write a CV (in alternative formats as well), prepare for interviews and get to work. We can also support you on the job and that includes helping your employer to know how to support you. We run a dedicated number of supported employment services and a growing range of social enterprises as well as learning and skills development projects.
