Care and support Who we help Your family Families are very important to most of us. We work closely with family members and advocates so that we can benefit from their knowledge and experience. We will also help to maintain or build relationships with relatives and other people who are important if appropriate. We know that families and advocates have a lot of knowledge about their relative/friend and we welcome working with you in the planning stage and throughout the time your relative/friend is being supported by us if they wish you to be. We will encourage regular contact, including visits, invitations to review meetings, helping with communication, and defining roles and responsibilities. We will also keep you up to date with how we are supporting your relative and ensure that you are involved in their person centred planning and reviews. We also welcome your involvement more broadly in our campaigning and fundraising work. In Touch - our family magazine We produce a bi-annual magazine specifically for families and supporters, which includes news about what we are up to and stories from families. You can download the latest issue of In Touch below, or, if you prefer to receive a printed copy, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org and ask to be added to the mailing list.
