Do you have an idea that could help you live more independently or feel happier and healthier? The People’s Fund could help make it happen! It’s money that you can apply for to help with your ideas.
People with learning disabilities have worked with the fundraising team to design the People’s Fund. It is kindly paid for by theClothworkers Foundation.
Who decides?
Your application will be looked at by the People’s Forum. This is a group of people supported by United Response.
They have lived experience and they understand what’s needed and help make the decisions.
Who can apply?
• Anyone supported by United Response can apply
• If you are under 18 or need help, someone can apply for you
• You can only apply once a year
What kind of ideas can get funding?
You can apply for something that will help you:
• Be more independent
• Feel better in your body and mind
• Work on your goals or hobbies

How much can I ask for?
• The smallest amount: £500
• The most you can ask for: £1,500
• Bigger amounts may be possible – we’ll look at each one carefully
