A vacancy has arisen in one of our four ground floor adapted bedrooms which would be suitable for someone looking for accommodation and personal care.

Beverley Road North: about the service

The service is staffed 24 hours a day with support workers and waking night and sleepover staff. There is an on-site registered service manager who is also supported by the area manager.

All of the people who live at our registered care home have support plans which are designed around each person’s individual needs and wishes and these are regularly reviewed and updated where necessary.

We work with the individual, their family, health practitioners and other people important in their life to make sure that we are providing the best care and support possible.

We aim to build on people’s potential, offering opportunities and experiences that not only enhance self-esteem but enable people to develop existing and new skills. This could be in their own home – with cooking, gardening or housework – or in the community: to meet up with friends, make new ones, go shopping or access leisure activities.

We work with the local authority social work teams to ensure we assess compatibility of new residents and develop a phased introduction, so that we can ensure they are in a home that meets their needs and that they settle in well.

This can involve a visit or frequent visits to look around and meet other people for a cup of tea. Then once agreed that the placement will meet the individual’s needs we would support their transition to their new home.
