ROC 5k charity run 2022
The ROC 5k (3 mile) charity fun run will take place after work on Tuesday 20 September 2022, starting and finishing at Lemon Quay, Truro.
People of all abilities are welcome and the minimum entry age is 11 years old.
The Mayor of Truro Steven Webb will start the race at 17.30.
The 2019 event saw just under 500 individuals and teams take part and more than £16,000 was raised.
We are challenging people to help us raise money to support people with disabilities across the south-west, including services such as Boscawen Farm which is just outside Truro.
We are promoting the concept of ‘farm to fork’ providing opportunities for people with learning disabilities to develop skills, employment opportunities and develop increased community inclusion.
Our vision is a society where everyone has equal access to the same rights and opportunities.
Every runner gets a FREE ROC 5k t-shirt, beer and a pasty.
