United Response supports people that are on the autistic spectrum, with some requiring particularly skilled assistance.
Everybody is different. We like different music, different clothes. We have different tastes. Luckily, we can choose what music we listen to, and what clothes we wear.
For many people with autism, giving an opinion or preference can be difficult. Many of the people we support do not use words to communicate.
United Response aims to ensure that they do have a voice. We try to effectively listen and respond to the people we support. And, because everyone is different, we are flexible in our approach, putting each person at the centre of what we do.
