They have lived experience and they understand what’s needed and help make the decisions.

  • Bills
  • Illegal items
  • Alcohol
  • Ideas costing over £1,500

Need help applying?

We have an Easy Read guide you can look at before applying.

You can also ask a family member, friend, or support worker to help.

What happens next?

The People’s Forum will look at all the applications and help choose who gets funding.

If your application is successful you’ll be told from 20 July.

As soon as we have evidence of your bank account or your appointee’s details we will transfer the money to you.

We’ll check in with you at the end of August to see how it’s going and we will ask you to share your story to inspire others.

If your application is not successful: You can try again next year.

We recommend speaking to our fundraising team for support.

Stay up to date
