Summer poems by Donna Harrison

The sand on land ๐๏ธ
You lay your feet on sand, soft to walk on.
It feels so smooth that it is like silk.
There are a lot of sandcastles as you walk to the coast.
The beauty of the beach ๐๏ธ, that is nice and warm for you.
Calm seas near the sand, beautiful to see.
Summer Sun โ๏ธ
Bright is the sky when the sun ๐ comes out,
It makes you smile ๐ with delight that day.
Came out to see that for another day,
The sun does not shine anymore.
Yellow Flower ๐ป
There are five petals in a row
In a vase ๐บ, so pretty.
So bright to see through the light of the window ๐ช.
To see those petals, outside that window.
All bunched up, together in a vase ๐บ
They seem to be daffodils ๐ผ,
To be sweet like honey ๐ฏ.
