About the film

Tom Cruise is Ethan Hunt in the seventh Mission: Impossible film and this should be seen on the biggest screen you can find. I saw it on the IMAX in my home city of York.

The film has an AI computer that wants to take over the world and Tom Cruise and his team have to stop it.

Here is Jamie’s review:

It’s full of action from the beginning and there is a great chase scene in the airport where everyone is after Tom Cruise. The villain is Gabriel (played by Esai Morales) and his sidekick is Paris (played by Pom Klementieff). Everyone is trying to get a key that can control the AI computer.

There are lots of fight scenes. My favourite one was in the nightclub in Venice, which finishes on a bridge over the canal… with a death of a key character!

I like the suit and waistcoat Tom Cruise wears – he looks smart all the time. I went to the film with Simon from United Response and he loved the military jacket worn by the character Paris.

The end of the film is set on a train and it’s amazing. Part of it was filmed here in Yorkshire.

The first Mission: Impossible film finished on the Eurostar. This one is even better. It’s absolutely full of brilliant stunts that Tom Cruise does himself – the best one is him driving a motorbike off a cliff.

It’s a long film so don’t drink too much. And this is Part One – Part Two is due next summer.
