United Response have been supporting people in Kent for over 28 years. We work in Dover, Shepway, Hawkinge, Ashford, Maidstone and Folkestone.

We support people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and mental health support needs, including people with complex needs who need 24-hour support.

We can offer you:

  • Support with day-to-day living, at home and in the community
  • A home with the right support for you, or help finding one
  • Fun and social activities in your local community
  • Help getting ready for work and finding a job
  • Education and training

The Community Network

The Community Network is our community space in Cheriton, Folkestone. It is used for community events like coffee mornings, classes, toddler groups and other actives.

Anyone can use the space, as long as their activities are inclusive. This lets different people from the local community meet and interact, giving isolated people a chance to socialise.

The Donation Station is our charity shop. It raises money for The Community Network, and teaches employment skills to the people we support.

Shepway Community Support

Our Community Support Team provides a range of services for people in Shepway. Many of the people we support are involved in the local community, including putting on art exhibitions, musical happenings, volunteering and working at a charity shops. One of the people we support completed a 16.5 mile sponsored walk for United Response and raised £150.
