Raising awareness

To create a fairer and more equal society we know that we need to raise awareness of the issues. We do this in a number of ways, from celebrating awareness days to sharing real life experiences.

Am I Your Problem?

We’re highlighting the indifference, hidden discrimination and sometimes outright hostility that people with autism or a learning disability can often face.

My Vote My Voice

Our My Vote My Voice website gives people with learning disabilities accessible information about the democratic process, so that they can make an informed choice when they vote.

Accessible Voting Day

Accessible Voting Day aims to promote the rights of people with disabilities to take part in politics and vote. And raise awareness of why voting and elections are hard for some people.

Making information accessible

We believe that information for everyday life should be made easier to understand and more accessible to people with learning disabilities. We work with government departments, business and the media to help make information accessible.

Share your story

Real life stories have the power to change minds, challenge stigma and influence change. Would you like to share your experience? If you have a story about any of the issues we take a stand on, we’d love to hear from you.
